Steinmeyer Lecture @ IBM/SAM Louisville 08

A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.

Steinmeyer Lecture @ IBM/SAM Louisville 08

[font:Comic Sans MS]During Jim Steinmeyer's Lecture he demonstrated two effects: 1.) utilizing a brick and a paper bag. 2.) a jumbo three card monte.
Both of these effects Jim said were inspired by two effects he found in Tarbell, then proceeded to give the volume numbers.. I've misplaced those lecture notes and I've flipped through all eight volumes of Tarbell to no avail. Anyone who saw the lecture and remebers the volume numbers I would very much appreciate any help you could lend.[/font]
