I have just acquired a first edition Professional Card Magic by Cliff Green in excellent condition and from the library of Col. Dr. Harlan Taylor.

Great book. I bought the copyright some years ago and will redo the entire thing. Have been studying it since age 14 or so.

I got my copy from one of my mentors, Bill Jennings, who got it from his friend, Cliff Green.

Got mine off of eBay for a great price after Jamy Ian Swiss had this in his must have books list.

Most of the book is quite poorly written. I'm going to remedy that.

Alas many magic books are poorly written. Especially works on sleight of hand. It is actually not an easy thing to write technical prose with sufficient clarity for the reader.

When the going gets rough I just read it out loud a few times. Sometimes it works. Otherwise I count on RK.
