You can turn them into a $20 download!!??

Damn, I've missed the boat on that.

Incidentally, addendum #3 is coming out shortly and it is really cool: the spectator does all the shuffling and dealing--you never touch the cards--and he deals himself a straight flush and three royal flushes.

The Bammo Flim-Flam CONglomeration is nearing completion of a first draft. Release date is uncertain. Will advise.

I've just issued update #3 to all purchasers: a spectator does all the shuffling and dealing and deals himself a straight flush and three royal flushes. The Magician never touches the cards. The odds of this happening by chance are more than twenty trillion, nine hundred billion to one.

Leonard, we are all at the mercy of the post office who seem to deliver things at random times to no known schedule or rationale.

New review from Steve Bryant:

by Bob Farmer
Some reviews are in:

“… If you do memdeck work, The Bammo Tarodiction Toolbox is a must-have. Fans of Bob’s previous efforts and those who enjoy ingenious, semi-automatic card effects will also want to pick this up. But for me, the main selling point of The Bammo Tarodiction Toolbox is that it is only the tip of the iceberg of what is possible using the sorting technique explained ….
“… Trust me; you want to get on the TBBT train right now. The ideas explained are as clever as anything I’ve seen lately. You’ll fool everybody, including yourself.”
—Mike Close

“… [Bob Farmer] … has discovered a new principle for secretly coding a group of playing cards such that they can be spectator-shuffled and then quickly unshuffled back into a useful sequence … The first time you attempt this ... should thrill you. It feels like magic.
“… How could a deck unshuffle itself from a random shuffle? It feels quite magical when you see it work.”
—Steve Bryant

Very good!
—Michael Weber (re one of the effects)

“… I’m double-damn-Bammoed. This is pretty unbelievable …. awfully damned good. Within magic, no mind approaches Bob Farmer’s. Outside magic, Machiavelli came close.”
—Stephen Minch

“… a great trick and a genuinely new method for secretly arranging cards quickly, accurately, and right in front of the spectators' noses.”
—Matthew Field

“… brilliant and stimulating …”
—Nick Pudar

“[The book is] … characterized by meticulous and thorough details and wondrous overview. It swings open the creaky door to the innermost circle of Satanic Sorcery. I can't wait to run into the fires of enlightenment like a first responder, wearing my Marlo jumpsuit.”
—Jon Racherbaumer

“… I've gone over the stuff and gotta' tell you, your thinking with Triharder is simply genius! You can use that as a quote if you like. But really - it is genius.”
—Harry Lorayne

“Re: Casinodiction: I like that a lot. There’s a reason for the dealing. Everything happens in the spectator’s hands. And there’s a lovely kicker with the royal flush. Well done. “
—David Britland

UNSOLICITED PURCHASER COMMENTS
“This is fantastic!!!!”

“It's amazing what you come up with.”

“Honestly, I'm really enthralled with this system. It's rare something this unique with nearly limitless possibilities comes along. I don't have a horse in this race nor do I know Bob, so I say this as a someone who only got this on a whim: buy … [it] …. Just looked over the new update, Bob. Fantastic stuff! I appreciate the continued updates/addendums for this.”

“I just got my Bammo Tarodiction Toolbox, and it is fantastic. To be honest, the TSUNAMI bonus is worth the price alone, and you get so, so much more. Bob is Satan (in a good way), and I love his brain. I recommend it wholeheartedly.”

“… this system is truly terrific.”

“Woohoo! Thanks Bob!”

“Thanks so much. Your stuff is SO GREAT!”

“This stuff is amazing... great work!”

"... fantastic, fantastic .... This system is devilish as heck. There's a metric ton to unpack in the book ... it ... seems like wizardry fueled by leprechaun blood ...."

“Brilliant stuff and who else sends out updates on the ongoing advances and ideas instead of turning them into a $20 single trick download?”

“My copy … arrived yesterday and I spent all evening with my head buzzing! This is genius!”

“Thank you Bob. This is awesome!”

“The novel approaches and methods outlined here are not only unique but practical in every sense. The great time and thinking that went into this … is most apparent …. This is the most impressive and best work on cards that I have seen from Bob Farmer in the 30yrs I have been learning using his publications.”

I just received this, and while I use Bikes once in a while, I mostly use Phoenix decks.

I'm reading over Addendum #2, in order to eventually use this for the Redford stack.

Has anyone else already worked out marks for the Phoenix deck, I thought why spend time if somebody has already worked something out.

I have no problem spending the time, but that's time taken away from working with my new Morgans!!

Today I released Addendum 5 to The Bammo Tarodiction Toolbox. It will be sent completely free of charge to all purchasers. One of the effects described, has, as far as I know, beeen impossible to achieve by other methods (if we leave out real magic, sorcery and divine intervention).

Here's what happens: a deck is shuffled and spread face up to show it really is mixed. The deck is scooped up and turned face down.

A card is selected (assume 3S) and lost in the deck. There is NO control, there is no sleight of hand, the card really is somewhere in the deck and the deck can be spread face up again to confirm the selection is there in the deck and not on top or on the bottom).

The deck is divided into face-up and face-down packets and the packets are mixed together. As this is done, the audience sees more face-up mixed cards, again all in a random order.

The deck is tapped once and spread face down: magically, all the cards are now face down, except for the selection, the 3S, which is now the only face-up card.

But here's the kicker--and it's a big one: the deck is flipped face up and spread and the deck is now in order from A to King, clubs, hearts spades and diamonds--and the selection, the 3S, is face down between the 2S and the 4S.

Addendum 5 also includes some bizarre ideas for using a Ouija board and a Pentagram for maximum magic (or sorcery, see above).

In addition, as requested by one purchaser, a marking system for Phoenix cards is explained.

Just in case you missed my emailed updates, there are a couple of typos in Addendum 5:

Page 5, 4th bullet: should read that the RIGHT thumb takes over the break, not the left thumb.

Page 3, about half way down the page should read:

Pick up H, a face-down packet, and place it in your left hand. Bridge it down slightly, to make that later cut easier.

Pick up D, the face-up packet just above it in the tabled packets, and place it onto packet H, holding a break between the two packets.

It says "pick up E," but it should say pick up D.

I'm not inclined to make over the top statements, but the trick ""Messcal" in Addendum #5 to Bob's Tarodiction Toolbox is one of the strongest tricks I can think of, impossible-looking on many levels but just about self-working in reality. If you like card magic, do yourself a favor and get this. If you saw it performed, you'd be fooled. If you perform it, THEY'LL be fooled. And entertained as well!

I've just emailed Addendum #6 to all customers. It includes a no-gaff, regular deck version of, "Messcal," from Addendum #5, the sneakiness of which will have you cackling insanely. There is also an additional marking method for Phoenix cards and an interesting idea from one of the many happy purchasers.

Yes, there is a connection: I provide a smorgasbord of ideas for card cannibals to feast upon.

I once did a pitch for a horror movie, the title and cutline of which was:

CANNIBAL BLOODBATH: Your parents were right--the big city will eat you alive.

It didn't sell.

While we're on all matters macabre, let's not forget the passing today of George A Romero, who scared the bejasus out of me many years ago with Night of The Living Dead.

And back to the Tarodiction Toolbox - it's a gift that just keeps on giving.

Well done Mr Farmer.

Addendum #8 (next week) features the DEal Finding CONverger system in three levels: DEFCON 3, DEFCON 2 and DEFCON 1, the latter being the most dangerous level. Stay tuned and make sure your fallout shelter is well-stocked with playing cards.

Let me tell you-- Addendum #8 to the Tarodiction Toolbox contains what I consider to be one of the finest tricks in the toolbox -- "Tarodiction Tantalizer."

I'd say more but I don't want Farmer's head to be even more swelled than it already is.

This trick will win someone an award on AGT, BGT, CGT, EGT (Egypt's Got Talent?) and will fool the pants off Teller.

This I know!
