Magic Catalogs
Magic Catalogs
I always enjoyed looking through the old Tannen, Abbott, and Hank Lee catalogs. Are there any dealers who currently publish a print catalog, other than the generic Robbins offering? For me, online just doesn't match the experience. Thanks!

Re: Magic Catalogs
Owens still publishes a catalog, but they charge a fairly steep price for it; though it is beautifully produced and quite large.
Abbott's has reprinted their 1934 and '35 catalogs at very reasonable prices, so that might be fun to check out.

I share your passion for catalogs. Steven's Magic still prints mini catalogs, many are available as PDF's on thier site....

Re: Magic Catalogs
The only printed catalogue I receive is from Joe Steven's, and it always has unusual stuff in it, so I would suggest signing up. And it's free.

Re: Magic Catalogs
What I have always loved about the Steven's catalogs were the funny pictures with Joe Stevens (and friends). In my youth, it was my version of the Sears Roebuck wishbook for when my parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas.
I also remember how my parents thought I was nuts for sending Tannen's $5 to buy a catalog for the privelege of buying stuff from them.
