Billy McComb has three books and a number of published manuscripts.
The First Book of William, published in England around 1946 is long out of print.
25 Years Wiser was published by Supreme circa 1972, his biggest and a hardback should be available from Magic Books by Post in England (search under google).
Recently Martin Breese republished The Professional Touch which is basically a series of audiotapes in book form - and detailing first class professional routines.
Billy himself has published a series of manuscripts, each routing one effect from his professional repertoire. I don't know if they are stocked by dealers but are available from Billy at lectures.
If you can get access to back issues of The Magigram, Billy started an irregular monthly column in 1972. You can also check out in those Magigrams the monthly columns of Billy's cousin George Johnstone.

Ricardo -The Magic Castle is having a "Magic of Argentina" week from April 6 - May 2. Performers from Argentina include Henry Evans, Norberto Jansenson, Ray Ben and Pablo Kusnetzoff.

Question for you: Do you cheer for River Plate or Boca Juniors?

I know the teams because I have family in Buenos Aires.

I believe that Martin Breese may be worth contacting regarding Billy's books.

BILLY MCCOMB

That Irish character is one of the best. I saw him at the Supreme Magic Convention in Devon in 1974. He did a bunch of tricks and spoke about his hat for kids shows. Anyone want to buy his autographed book?

Billy McComb's books along with those by Karrell Fox are the most underestimated sources of commercial, workable and practical material availble to present day magicians.

One of the most exciting things for me at Magic LIVE last summer was getting to meet Billy. Without a doubt, the funniest man I've ever met. (Tied with Tom Mullica.)

Sir Reynolds... Agreed. I used to call Billy's and Karrell's "the red books" and they are LOADED with real world useable stuff.
Stay tooned.

"Milky the Clown" was Clare Cummings, I believe. I think Karrell "subbed" for him sometimes...

Certainly in Karrell's books there are photos of him as Milky the Clown - and he mentions that Clare Cummings was the original "Milky".

Karrell also performed for children as 'WOW the Wizard'.

I was strolling through the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas late one night with Karrell, when a cute female blackjack dealer came up to him and asked, "Didn't you used to be Milky the Clown?" (I think a magician in the room put her up to it, but it didn't matter.) "Yes, I was," he beamed. He loved the moment.
