Passing on the following from Harlan. Sadly, I can't make it but I'm guessing others can....

DAN HARLAN'S JAM SESSIONS
Would you like personal, practical instruction from a full-time professional magician with real-life experience? Yeah, I thought you might... but, how much is it going to cost you? How about 20 bucks? Yep, that's right, one measly little Andrew Jackson will kick your magic up to the next level... and beyond.

Here's the deal... sometimes, I have "downtime" on the road to another destination. So, I have an idea! When I pass through your city, I'll open up my "home on the road" to meet with you about your specific interests in magic, help you identify and solve problems, and answer any questions about what it takes to be a real magician... and all you have to do is bring your friend, Andrew Jackson!

"Truly a creative genius, Dan Harlan's personal instruction provides a rare opportunity to acquire the essential tools that will last a lifetime." -- Jeff McBride

This is no "standard magic lecture" -- the Jam Session provides you with incredible insight into the psychology and methodology of deception, and the 20 bucks will keep the "dead weight" away so we can get into the real secrets of magic.

Here's just a few things I'll share with you:
Perfecting Sleights and Various Forms of Misdirection
The Hook and Other Scripting Techniques
Building Routines to a Climax and The Principle of the Series of 3
How to Get Paying Gigs and What to Charge
How to Approach People in Any Situation
Types of Audiences and Handling Difficult Spectators
Stage Presence: What it is and How to Get It
Major Causes of Stage Fright and How to Deal With It
What To Do When Things Go Wrong
Life on the Road and What Goes On Behind the Scenes
...and plenty of other cool stuff!

Plus (if you want to) you can bring a routine you're working on and I will show you how to hone it to perfection. The sessions are happening on short notice to coincide with my travel schedule. Jam Sessions begin at 8 PM in the following cities/dates (07):

Dayton, OH -- DEC 5
St. Louis, MO -- DEC 6
Joplin, MO -- DEC 7
Oklahoma City, OK -- DEC 8
Albuquerque, NM -- DEC 9
Flagstaff, AZ -- DEC 10
Phoenix, AZ -- ..ulsa, OK -- DEC 21
Springfield, MO -- DEC 22
Indianapolis, IN -- DEC 23

If you think you may attend, simply send an e-mail to danharlanmagic@yahoo.com with JAM SESSION in the subject line and tell me which city you're interested in. I'll reply with the location. By inquiring, you're under no obligation to attend so you have nothing to lose.

The price for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is only $20 per person, so... will you sit at home wondering what all the fuss is about, or will you hang out with me and the "hardcore group" who care about creating great magic. It's your choice -- I hope to see you there.

I just attended the session in Oklahoma City. His lecture was very informative and I feel that it has already helped the way I think about my performance.

If you guys can attend I suggest you doing so because 20 dollars is a real steal for the amount of information provided. Just bring your notebook because you won't be able to remember all that he says. I give this lecture a 5 out of 5.
