The Bammo Gridlock Dossier

Postby Bob Farmer » May 21st, 2023, 7:50 am

The Bammo Gridlock Dossier is a deep-dive examination into the use of matrices and grids in magic and mentalism. There has never been a book like this one and it is more than just a collection of methods: new and cutting-edge effects are included.

If you are a mentalist, you need this book.

If you are a magician looking for the latest mental effects, you need this book.

If strange effects with Tarot cards, mystical rune stones, pentagrams and playing cards fascinate you, you need this book.

If you find interesting the works of Max Maven, Karl Fulves, Simon Aronson, Sam Schwartz, John Bannon and others in the same class, you need this book.

If you want to add a book to your library that is completely different from every other book in your library, you need this book.

And finally, if you are looking for a real deal and real value for your money (for $35 you get 184 pages and almost 34,000 words), you need this book.

Thank you to all of my supporters: out of the box, this manuscript is selling faster than any of my previous efforts. For those who have a copy, make sure you check out the impromptu version in the ES-Prediction section. For those without a copy here's the effect:

The spectator shuffles his own deck. As he is doing this, you write a prediction which remains on the table throughout, its contents unknown. Some cards are cut off by the spectator. A small packet is formed. The bottom card of that packet is isolated. The magician does not touch the deck for the selection. The card is unknown. The prediction is revealed: for example, the 4S. The bottom card is revealed: it's the 4S.

No angles. No nail writer. No sleight of hand. A new and revolutionary method sneaky in the extreme that can be used in many other effects.

There is a new revised version of The Bammo Gridlock Dossier. Past purchasers may download it for free from Lybrary.com. It corrects a few transcription errors here and there (see "A Poker Chip For Your Thoughts").

Is there any way of ordering this book in print? I find it easier to read than sitting at a computer.

There are many color photographs so the best approach is to either print it out double-sided on a color printer or take the file to your local printer.

The Bammo Gridlock Dossier Revision 3 Now Available For Free To All Present Owners

One of the advantages of downloads is the ability to update them when a better idea comes along and Tomas Blomberg has improved “Stonedhenge” way beyond what it was before.

Previously there were two requirements: the spectator had to start on a down rune; and two different sets of instructions were required.

Tomas eliminated both of those requirements. Now, the spectator can start anywhere and only one set of instructions is needed.

This is way beyond what Fulves and Schwartz had devised.

We are not worthy.

I print all of my PDF with this company. They have many options. I usually choose first page color and wire binding.
There are other companies that provide the same service, so you may want to research those {I.E. big box office stores}.

Bob, I was wondering in your researching this book, if you ran across any mathematical proof of the basic matrix force, say for even a small 4x4 square. It's kind of eluding me.

Jack, if there is one it will be in this book Hidden Numerical Forces by Thomas Henry, Leaping Lizards Publishing, 2006.

I loathe grid magic!

My review will appear in the September issue.

Jack,

While not a formal proof, this page shows how the formula is constructed:
