I am looking for an app that provides a list of items. Each item would have a code name, say "123."
It should work like this:
1. I type in a code, say 123.
2. The app immediately displays the 123 item.
Does anyone know of an app that can do this?
The coding has to be flexible, so it could be a number code like 123 or an alphanumeric code like R12, or an alphabetical code like RBB.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Re: List App
If a spreadsheet database (ie:AirTable) looks like it would work for you, also investigate TapForms or Numbers for iOS. (The latter being free from Apple.)

Assuming an iPhone, have you explored Notes? It has a number of formatting options, and search is global so if the codes are unique...

Re: List App
Hi Bill: Yes, I've played around with Notes and with Reminders. They both work okay.
