Found lot 771 to be the most interesting from both a item point of view and price expected and price paid.

Mildly interesting behind the scenes info - despite a lot of global participation i'm lead to believe that the vast majority of the items went to Uk buyers; something in the region of just a few dozen lots going out of the country.

I thought the same thing!

Actually, though, there seemed to be some very good bargains for the winners.

I noticed item 771 as well. I hope the purchaser is happy with the item, but honestly, I myself would have zero interest in possessing that item. (On the other hand, maybe it has some claim to fame that I am unaware of.)

I was bidding on lot 771 but ultimately it was just a hair out of my price range.
