Postby Dan Bradbury » August 26th, 2021, 1:30 pm

Greetings! Here is the latest version of the Reverse Auction sent Thursday morning (Central Time) Thursday, August 26. More great additions this week, including more on some classic biographies, more mentalism, collectibles, comedy, performing magic, lots of small booklets, ephemera, magazines, and, of course, a lot of just great books/booklets at increasingly affordable prices—and many as low as $4, $5 or $6 each. We have made it easy for you to spot the items that are newly listed. If you see something of interest, verify availability with an email query to us and we will respond with the total cost including shipping at standard rates (or priority, if requested). We will be tied up until late this afternoon, but hope to be back in touch with everyone no later than noon tomorrow, so please be patient. We always respond to everyone in the order that your queries are received. Zip codes are helpful with your query and, if you are located outside the U.S. or live in Missouri, please include where you want your order shipped.

As always, we "GUARANTEE YOUR PURCHASE”—if you want to return an item for any reason, we offer a full refund of the purchase price. Payment options and other details are at the end of the listing. And now, here’s this week’s list:

Please query first to confirm availability and reserve one or more items. Most items are single copies and are available subject to prior sale. We will ship as soon as we receive your personal check or money order; or you can pay via PayPal <http://www.PayPal.com> if you prefer. Missouri customers must add 8.85% sales tax. Our address information--including our web site where some additional books and other materials can be found--is listed below.

A word about shipping: We typically ship smaller packages (under a couple of inches thick) in bubble padded envelopes and use double-bubble on the ends and edges and/or often use cardboard reinforcement on ends and edges inside a padded envelope—although we have seldom had problems, it seems that more issues are being reported. So, we will start using boxes for individual books or packets of materials that are more than 2.5 – 3 inches thick depending on weight. This is a little more expensive, but we value your business and want to try to ensure that your materials are received in the same shape they were in when left our store. If you have consistent problems with rough treatment by your local sorting center or carrier, let us know and we will make special efforts to give you secure packaging. If the delivery time is an issue of concern for you, we are always happy to quote and send via “Priority Mail” at the going rate for that service.

If you are not receiving this weekly "reverse auction" directly, but would like to do so, just drop us a note in that regard and we will take care of it.

Thanks for your interest!
