Various Cups and Balls, Mikame Sticks, Garcia 3-ball book

Postby dader2 » October 27th, 2019, 12:47 pm

I'm trying to clean up the house, monetize the stuff on my bookshelf and focus on the routines I do versus those I never have gotten and so I'm selling;

1. Sherwood cups -- chopped, perfect. I believe these are the silver plate cups, as they do. Original Sherwood balls included. $400
2. copper Paul Fox cups, NOT RNT2 remakes -- some working nicks on cup bottom, edges (see photos) but they are very very very slight. $400
3. brass Jeff Busby version of Paul Fox cups --perfect, $800
4. Mini Monti, copper, $ 200, very slight scratch on top which can be polished out I believe. Photos show half dollar to give a sense of size.
5. Mikame Chinese sticks in original box, perfect condition. $150
6. Frank Garcia's (a wonderful man) "The Real Secrets to the Three-ball Routines" singed by Frank in fantastic shape -- tight binding, only some very minor shelf wear on edges. $65.

I'll pay for shipping. If you want more photos, please email me.

Oy, half an idiot am I. The Sherwood cups, original bag included, are silver plated and the smooth types -- not engraved. The Busby cups were machined, not spun. I hope this encourages interest.

I am the one that bought the Sherwood cups from David, besides having now a beautiful set of cups, first one with silver finish, the dealing with David Ader, which I did not know, was beyond than excellent. Courteous, accommodating, quick replies and he provided me with anything I asked for, from pics to provenance. He shipped the cups the day after I paid, and I got the cups today.
Great transaction overall, if you are in the fence, use my experience as referenced
Pablo

Thank you VERY much for that review Pablo. Our reputations are the most important thing to create and retain (if they're good!). I'm really glad you like the cups. They are beauties. David
