Postby M Helmer » October 11th, 2019, 5:36 pm

Howdy!

If anyone has a copy of Richard Kaufman's Abstract that they would be so kind as to part with, please let me know and I will gladly relieve you of it.

Is it your first Lecture Notes, Richard ?

Was it in 1983 or 1984 ?

My copy is copyrighted 1984 but I have a note that is a "second printing". Don't remember where this information comes from: I had the notes in my library for 16 years.

I received my copy at the San Francisco edition of the New York Magic Symposium, directly from the author. That was in 1984. I'm sorry to say that I sold them last year to a collector.

Personally, I haven't Abstract but I am the proud owner of a rarity called Kaufman's Conjuring Omnibus

I have found a very rare manuscript by Richard entitled the Encyclopedia of Card Magic. It's just the table of contents. Richard sent it to me on December 10, 1986.

NEW Stars of Magic

I assumed people were capable of using context clues and realising that RK was not massively active in magic in the early 60s...
