I can certainly endorse all three books you have mentioned particularly The Royal Road to Card Magic where 50% of my performing repertoire with cards comes from.

But here is something interesting about "MY BEST". Years and years and years ago I remember asking Jon Tremaine the rather noted UK mentalist (later to become a very busy children's entertainer and nowadays mainly a writer of magic books for beginners) which was his favourite magic book. I still remember him instantly saying "MY BEST" without any hesitation. I own the book and it is indeed excellent. I recommend it thoroughly.
