This weekend, Potter & Potter is conducting its annual auction of gambling memorabilia and rare playing cards.

Among the highlights of the auction are several genuinely rare books on crooked gambling, including Ritter's Advantage Card Playing and Draw Poker, Bonneville's The Little Secrets (perhaps only two copies of this book are known), a first edition of Erdnase (and several later editions), as well as the elusive Koschitz Manual of Useful Information.

The Potter and Potter Auctions are always very exciting! I was very curious to see how low of high the final bid on that first edition of 'The Expert at the Card Table' would be this time. I posted a 15 second clip of the bidding on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BFt1StJPrj5/ If I remember well the result was even $500 higher comparing with a P&P auction in 2015.
So my advice is if you are in the possession of such first edition.... don't let it alone unattended on your coffee table.
