The price should double by then.

I found one of these "Pike's Peak" silhouettes by Vernon at an antique mall in Omaha for $25 several years ago. Gave it to a deserving friend.

Great find - the seller probably thought they were getting top dollar at $25.

The eBay seller knows what he has: his starting bid was $249.

I meant to say the Omaha seller probably thought they were getting top dollar at $25, not knowing a Vernon sil is worth a lot more to magicians.

I wonder what this one ended up going for.

It appears that the first one sold for $250, so I'm guessing the second one did as well. Both of those prices are less than expected for a Vernon silhouette.

The silhouette that ended on the 14th went for less than $250. If anyone knows someone willing to pay more than $250 for a Vernon sil, let me know.
