Viking Haenchen 4 Cup Wood Turned Cups & Balls Limited to 36 sets, c.1990s

[color:#CC6600]Turned Wood Cups and Balls Set, Viking Haenchen, c. 1990s[/color]

These go back to long before Viking took over Collectors Workshop. The cups were made for such a short period and were so limited (just 36 sets), many do not even know they exist. As I recall they were sold exclusively through Stevens Magic (see scan from original catalog ad).

Set consists of 4 stunning turned wood cups and a custom wood & felt display base. One cup is chopped and one is a solid cup, thus the routine possibilities are endless.

Never used, only displayed.

$595.00 shipped insured UPS (USA mainland). Payment via Paypal only.

Those look like the same Cups my friend Murray had in his shop in 1990, when I started to visit the new shop.
I think they were made in the late 80's. He said that he had gotten his set directly from the owner of Viking as a gift.
They are astounding cups and worth every cent. I wish I had the money to get this set from you.
Good luck with your sale.
Mike

Can you tell us how big a load these can take? A tennis ball?
Thanks.

Would still love to know the answer to my question asked last month.
Will these hold a tennis ball load?

Thanks.

Hi Ruben,

Sorry, I thought I had pm'd you that info. The cups inside mouth is about 61mm tapering down to about 35mm, so while I do not have a tennis ball to test exact, I am sure it would not fit (other then resting shallow inside the top opening). Thanks for looking! Michael
