Question about "The Real Man's Wallet"

Postby erdnasephile » January 19th, 2010, 6:10 pm

Quick question for those of you who own Steve Draun's Real Man's Wallet (made by Murphy's)

According to the printed instructions, the wallet was to come with a "clear plastic slide".

If you bought yours new, did you receive one with your wallet?

It would seem that you would not need one to make the wallet work, but I hate buying stuff that's missing parts (even if it's non-essential).

Many thanks in advance for your help!

I'm pretty sure I remember there being a slip of paper that came with it, saying there is no slide anymore, just use a credit card.

erdnasephile,

The clear plastic slide seemed a bit too thin & flimsy for my taste. I just use my own driver's license as the gimmick. It sets up easily and works perfectly. Try it.

personally i use a clear plastic slide. they are easy to find. they next time you buy something that is encased in plastic, cut a piece to fit the wallet and viola....

Hi, Joe and ggarcia -- Yes, I was thinking the drivers licenses in our state are perfect for the slide, but I like the idea of nothing else seen in the window compartment as well.

What routines are you using the wallet for? (anything other than standard Card to Wallet?)
