Im looking for someone that can change a remote for me...I have a Viper 1 snake basket and it has the large remote control transmitter...I purchased a latch remote receiever with keychain remote transmitter and I would like to have it wired in and the old remote disconnected..or do I just need to find a different ( smaller ) remote transmitter to operate it..not sure what type it is(rf or other type..it escapes me right now ) not sure if there is another remote transmitter that will work with it. Any help would be much appreciated.

When I wanted to replace the remote, I contacted Terry Lunceford. He offered to do the work for me, but he also gave me the information so I could do it myself. It took a little cutting and scraping, but the finished product worked great.

Michael,
I met an electrical engineer from Arizona, who built a remote control ignition device for me for around $120. His name is Craig Filicetti and his e-mail address is cragfilicetti@yahoo.com. The Wireless Wizardry folks can definitely do the job, but when I asked for an estimate for a proposed project it was quite expensive.
