Will trade Brass Sherwood cups for Copper Sherwood Cups. Or will trade for smooth silver and I will pay the difference.

Why not just have them copper plated?

Since the smooth silver Sherwoods are now sold out, how much do you think the "difference" would be?

There are only ten sets of the smooth silver Sherwoods.

Are you making an offer?

Or more exactly, Bill, do you have a price in mind?

I wouldn't let mine go for less than $2000.00.

There are fewer smooth silver Sherwoods than there are Connie Haydn cups.

You might consider selling the brass ones and ordering a set of copper ones. He also has some of the silver/gold ones left.

Gee Bill, why are you making such an issue of this? If you don't want to trade your silver Sherwoods, no big deal to me. However my offer to anyone offended you, Bill, I do hereby publicly apologize.

No, it didn't offend me. It just seemed a bit naive.

Bill-you have a wonderful collection. You are very generous with your knoweldge (which is large) and often very wise. You have no idea of my wealth (or lack) or of my intentions. How very wise of you to know someone else's thoughts, financial limits, especially someone whom you do not personlly know. I genuinely appreciate all you have done for magic.
