I think I have it, although I can't be sure because I'm at work. I have 2 MAJs with notes written in them by Martin Gardner.

I'll check tonight after work and post another reply.

Yes, I have them and they do contain Martin Gardner's notes such as "good routine," "clever idea," and "excellent." There are also some underlinings made by Martin, but everything is readable with no problem.

In case you're interested, I also have Vol 1, #4 and Vol 1, #5 & 6, which is a double issue. These have nothing to do with Martin.

I'll take them to work with me tomorrow in case you have any questions.

Take care,

Joel

Joel,
Thanks for your effort. I found a copy. It was the only issue I needed for the set.

Again thanks for your help

Joel,

I am interested in V-1, #1. I too am at work and do not have access to my personal email, but if you could wait until this evening, perhaps we can chat.

Thanks,
Dustin

trickdoctor,

So the question in my mind is, What routines and ideas did Martin Gardner like?

I'm glad you liked "Impromptu Holey Terror". I'm Johnny Lindholm who came up with this version (I later changed my name to my stage name John Houdi).
I have had a lot of fun with this effect during the years I performed close-up magic and I'm very happy that so many people liked my version.

Well, thank you. The clips must be very mystifying with the Swedish patter ;-)

I have an extra copy of double-issue Volume One, numbers eleven and twelve (June and July 1987). Excellent condition. This is the David Regal issue with his McCombical Deck routine. Ray Kosby stuff too.

$10.00 postpaid (media mail)
