For Sale: Leather Cylinder for Cylinder and Coins with pics

Postby Frank Starsinic » December 10th, 2003, 12:43 am

With the recent release of Carney on Ramsay I have been asked frequently about getting cost-effective but quality cylinders for the Cylinder and Coins effect made.

So, I am selling nice leather cylinders for Cylinder and Coins for Silver Dollars
(see below re: other size).

Sample pictures:
http://www.theambitiouscard.com/img

The standard colors are black or brown (see below re: other colors).

You can have it stitched or not stitched.
The cylinders are 3" high.

Ships anywhere in the US for $24.
Outside the US, shipping would have to be calculated.

Interested? You can Paypal me the funds to
frank@calweb.com

and don't forget to specify color and stitched/unstitched.

Most people have been ordering black-unstitched, FYI which I use as well.

Specialty orders for half-dollars or other coins, different heights, colors, etc., contact me for pricing.

Do you mean stitched as opposed to glued? Have you considered making leather cones (for Ball and Cone)as well?

It was suggested to me to put photos of sample cylinders on the internet for all to see.

Here is the link:

From there you can pick one of several images.

Frank

Yes, I can also have the cones made if you give me the dimensions. No problem. I'll have to check on a price for that, however, once I see what needs to be done, specifically, to create one.

Rafael, all the cylinders are glued. Some people prefer the leather to also be stitched for that, shall we say, ......

"stitched leather" look.

hmm, yes... then perhaps studded leather for 'that' look too?

on a more PG rated tact, perhaps a 'PRADA' label in red rubber, or a small 'COACH' tag? Going 'ne plus ultra' may as well be done in couture as well.

Sombody's been watching way too many makover shows :D

Jonathan, you've been hinting that you want the studded leather cylinder for weeks now.

Once you show me your fingertip coins accross, I'll send you the studded cylinder for free.

I'll even throw in a matching collar you can wear during the show.

Rafael,
Yes, I'm considering the cones and a chop cup.

Instead of a matching "solid" leather chop cup, I'm also considering a "sealed" chop cup to go with the regular chop cup.

Frank,

I received my two cylinders yesterday and they are great.

I'm the lucky owner of several Pressley Guitar props made of leather.

These props are every bit as good if not better.

Thanks for making a hard to find prop at very reasonable prices.

Best regards,

Pete Mills

I have enough people interested that I have started making leather cones.

5" tall. 1" top diameter 2-3/8" bottom diameter.
Open at both ends.
Black or Brown. Stitched or not.
$40 shipped to a US address.

You can paypal me directly at frank@calweb.com

I will be setting up a webpage with pictures soon.

thanks,
Frank

I just got in the prototype of the "seamless" cylinder for cylinder and coins.

The seam is virtually undetectable.

These will be a touch more expensive but nicer still for those wanting the best.

If you're interested in them, let me know.
