(I apologize if I'm asking too many questions).
I'm wrapping up on an article on Dr. I. R. Calkins (S.A.M. President 1936-1937). He was the center of the magic community in Springfield, MA and was instrumental in bringing the S.A.M. Conference to Springfield in 1936. Calkins closed one night's show during the with his "blooming rose bush."
My question is, could this be the same trick that Houdini used and recently sold at auction?
I couldn't find else anything on the Conjuring Archive that would fit the bill. I can't remember which month Genii reported on the sale, but I'm not sure it would answer my question.
Houdini's HOUDINI’S AUTOMATIC FLOWERING ROSEBUSH?
Re: Houdini's HOUDINI’S AUTOMATIC FLOWERING ROSEBUSH?
Yes, it was the same. I have all the provenance on it. As well as a video how to set and perform it.

Thanks!
That's the confirmation I needed.
