This girl is trending on Boing Boing, Reddit, Kottke, etc. Using rudimentary vent technique, she makes it appear that the sound of her voice is delayed relative to her actions.

She only does it for single words. I've got to believe that this is not new, and that there are vents who've done it for whole sentences and more. Does anyone know of such?

Ronn Lucas did a routine with a microphone where the mic was playing with him. Ronn would mouth the words and a couple of seconds later the sound would come. His vocabulary was considerably greater too.

I couldn't get on with his chicken routine, but the broken microphone is an absolute gem.

I do like much British humor, but that guy was painful.

As always, horses for courses. I think the microphone bit is hilarious.

Red Skelton did a microphone routine playing a politician. Hilarious. Would love to find it on the web.

I'm going to try this delayed "Hey" technique on the check-out gal at the grocery store the next time I'm in line to purchase beans and rice. Also on my grandson, who I know will get a kick out of it. It seems to me doing this would be very funny, but maybe that's just me.
