"Expurgated" Expert Card Technique

Postby Marco Pusterla » February 22nd, 2021, 4:54 pm

Hello!

We are all familiar with the expurgated Greater Magic (all pages blank except the first chapter) and about other magic books that were almost completely formed by blank pages (I remember The Magic of Fred Kaps, for example), but can anybody tell me if there ever was an "expurgated" edition of Expert Card Technique, by Hugard & Braue? I have a vague recollection that there may have been, printed at the time of the first (or second?) edition, but I haven't been able to find any definitive reference. Have I dreamt it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated: thank you in advance! :)

Thank you, Justin: that is the copy I had in mind. But was it a "one-off" (it has an unusual dedication...), or were a few more copies bound? This is what I would like to know :)
