The narrator sounds American to me. Strangely, the initial and final shots do not appear to be of Indian performers, but Arab (and described as such at the beginning), possibly Egyptian. A strange hodgepodge, but some great footage, nonetheless. Thanks!

Maybe he is American I thought he sounded very British the type of accent one heard on old news reels .
I did think it strange that Egyptian wonder workers were lumped in with their Indian counterparts but maybe that was the way during these times .
