Ward Hall - Final Curtain

Postby Diego » August 31st, 2018, 4:58 pm

I was very saddened today to learn of the passing of my old boss and friend, Ward Hall.
Ward with his partner Chris, were the last of the showmen who owned and managed sideshows and other attractions very successfully.
In his time, he hired, fired, and sobered up, (with varying success) more magicians, than can be counted.

When other sideshow operators couldn't keep their shows profitable, and folded, Ward & Chris had as many as 4 or 5 shows on the road at the same time that generated revenue. Despite changing times in the world and in show business, Ward could make his attractions work when others couldn't.

I was honored to introduce him at The Los Angeles Conference on Magic History, and see him receive the attention and credit he deserved.
It was also gratifying to see him honored by others in his last years as well.

Performer, producer, SHOWMAN, Ward Hall did it all. Can't imagine a world with Ward.

Last of the Breed...he was real show business.
