Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
In my book "They lived by tricks" (http://bit.ly/TLBT2pm) I have described some of the vicissitudes of Sieur Rea and family during the 18th and early 19th century. During my researches I came across a broadside of Thomas Rea, ventriloquist, magician and mimic, dated 1840 if I remeber correctly. I wonder if Thomas was in some way related to the earlier performers. If you need a scan of the broadside for your studies, just let me know.
