Something pretty special at Potter & Potter

Among the Houdiniana items in the April 9 auction, something unique: 31 typewritten pages of The Cancer of Superstition , co-written with HP Lovecraft. Opening bid $13,000; it'll be interesting to see where it ends up if a battle erupts between Houdini collectors and Lovecraft collectors.

Apparently the manuscript, whose existence was rumored but unconfirmed, was "discovered among the records of a now-defunct magic shop". Anybody have any further information?

Apparently it was written by C.M. Eddy Jr. from an outline/notes from Lovecraft. You can read more about that here:
