Virgil and Julie

Postby Jerry Harrell » December 18th, 2007, 2:54 am

The first big illusion show I saw was Virgil and Julie in 1960. Are there any bios on these performers? I found an on-line reference which says " Julie decided after a while to write a book called The Great Virgil (this from The Last Night of the Hippodrome by Alan Clark). But I cannot find that book.

I remember at least one (cover story?) article in Genii from many years ago, but couldn't find anything in MagicPedia or in a search of some of my favorite magic dealers, other than the write-ups that Arnold Furst and Tony Taylor did in their books. Does anyone on the Forum know of something else written or planned? Thanks.

In 1991 David Charvet wrote/published The Great Virgil .

My copy is not for sale but it does come up on eBay occasionally.
