There's probably some story behind those cups, a regular set is selling in the 3-500 range.

He is not selling cups. He is selling Danny Dew's tooling to MAKE the cups. It was purchased from Potter and Potter during the Busby auction.

Ahhhh, there we go, some provinance. From a collectors POV it might be worth it to someone, but for actual use I can see no way a buyer could recoup their investment.
