NY Magician tops B-day party $$$

Postby MaxNY » October 14th, 2004, 7:38 pm

Today's New York Post (October 14, 2004) ran an article titled "Tot's b-day parties hit the $5K mark".
---Kidville Ny tops out with a $4,950 party for 20 featuring real clowns from the Big Apple Circus. Also, a nice 1/8th size photo of Magic Al Garber who gets "$650 an hour to perform birthday party tricks"! Al has worked for Stern, and DeNiro.
---Not to kick "The Sillster" or "Kaufster" but does anyone else stare at the celebrity photos with magicians ...just to obsess over their "Hollywood / do I really have to pose with this
ghoul" smiles? Sig and Roy used to do this all of the time. My favorite was Sig and Roy with Zaza Garbor, I think she was searching for the "Exit".

I remember when Howard Stern had the magician for the party. He said, on the air, that the magician wanted to get through to get a plug and Howard, though he said he liked the guy, wouldn't let him on.

You are better off being just plain frank, Frank.
