SAM Convention

I was wondering what you thought about the SAM convention in St. Louis? Did you like it? What was your highlight? What did you not like?

I only attended a couple of the days but had a lot of fun. The Friday night show was great. Hosted and performed by Topas and Roxanne for 90 minutes. High energy and some wonderful presentations. A juggler was also on the bill from I believe Germany and he was fantastic.

Got to see Tom Burgoon and Steve Bargatze which is always a riot.

The close-up shows were pretty good. Dan Fleshman, Jim Pace, John Mendoza, again Tom and Steve all provided some laughter as well as magic.

Did not get to see Mirko who was scheduled for Saturday but went on early because of his mother being seriously ill. It was great that the SAM could provide him with switching to a different day so he could leave.

Lot's of get together's going on well into the evening that were also fun. Sometimes the best things are seen at the nightly sessions!
