Hi all ...
Can anyone in magic land recommend some good singer impressionists ( ala Danny Gans ) that they have either seen or worked with in the past ...
Thanks

Gary Wilner does a fantastic job with his impressions of Frank Sinatra...Nat Cole... Elvis... etc. And amazingly enough, he does them all without moving his lips. He's a ventriloquist and uses life-sized dummies of the above vocalists.

Where does Gary work? There was a Canadian fella I saw a couple of years ago in Las Vegas that was awesome too.
Stay tooned.

Pam Mattheson is top notch. She does Streisand, Cher, Liza, all the biggies.
Bill Palmer, MIMC

There was/is someone named Jim(?) Pierce, who did amazing impressions of Judy Garland, Peggy Lee and others. In fact, he billed himself as an illusionist, because of the amazing re-creations of these diva-icons.

Gordie Brown is the best singer impressionist/comedian I have ever seen: Bar None.
Re: Best Singer Impressionists
I may be confusing impressionists...but I think his name was JIM BAILEY, who did the singing impressions.
I think someone named Charles Pierce, did speaking/non-singing impressions of Bette Davis, etc.

And then there was the guy that did the harmless impression of one of the three tenors.
I think he was Placebo Domingo.
