Friends - the Parent Assembly magic auction will be held Thursday, Jan 11. Doors will open at 7:30 pm. If you are in the New York City area this is a great place to find magic treasures and bargains as Parent Assembly members and others put unique magic items on the block. The auction is a fund-raiser for Parent Assembly (the NYC chapter of the S.A.M.). While PA1 members have priority in terms of auctioning their items we expect there will be space for sales by non-members as well. If you wish to sell at the event get in touch with Joe Cetti at jpetercetti@hotmail.com. For any items sold a commission is deducted from the sale price to support the Assembly, which in the case of nonmembers who sell their items is 15%. Admission to the auction is free and anyone interested may attend. This is always one of the more fun events of our year. We hope to see you. The auction will be held at the Ellington Room, in Manhattan Plaza, 400 West 43rd Street. Keep in mind that Parent Assembly has a business meeting prior to the auction so doors to the auction for public/non PA1 members will open after that, at 7:30.
