Today I had a nice visit to NYC's newest magic shop, Don't Blink, run by Magick Balay. The shop was featured in Genii's The Eye a month or two back.
In one of his glass cases were a bunch of joints, spliffs, and blunts. Magick said a friend of his hand-carves and paints them. They're very realistic, including the faux-lit ends. These are exclusive to Don't Blink. Great for manipulation effects and other ideas that could involve torn and restored rolling papers, etc.
Magick said they are selling. The one cigarette effect he has on display continues to collect dust.

Sweet. With a little retooling, I may be able to use my multiplying pipes again.

One of my recent projects involved rewriting and rerecording Canada's national anthem, "O Canada" as "Yo! Cannabis!" Stay tuned for update and major artist performance.
