I have only heard of two of the people on that list so I cannot comment on their competence or lack thereof. However, in some earlier posts I did see some names of judges that I recognised. I am far too tactful to name them but quite frankly I don't believe they are qualified to judge. I got the distinct impression of the blind leading the blind. As a psychic reverend I kept getting a vision of a quote from the Bible. "Judge not that ye be not judged"

I might be wrong, but I believe that Maga Caro once studied a short while for Henry Evans. Since she and her partner placed 6'th, with points that seem reasonable, it doesn't appear to have had any undue influence. All the prizes seem to have ended up in the right hands.

It occurs to me that being a student of one of the judges could work against the competitor as the judge in question may lean over backwards to show a lack of bias.
