RIP David Goodsell
Long-time editor (30 years!) of M-U-M and past National President of the SAM David Goodsell has died. David was a very nice man. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with Jann, his family, and his countless friends.

Re: RIP David Goodsell
This is indeed too bad. I grew up in Utah and David was one of the good guys at the Salt Lake City magic clubs, and helped me get started. In addition to his work on M-U-M, he co-published the bizarre magazine Oracle. See https://geniimagazine.com/wiki/index.php?title=Oracle

Re: RIP David Goodsell
Sad news. David was good to magic, and good for magic.
His was the first magic lecture I ever hosted. It was just the other day, in 1989.
I still have an autographed copy of his booklet, ‘M.U.M.’s the Word, 17 Secrets from the Pages of M-U-M Magazine’.
He performed and taught several tricks. The stand out for me was Chameleon Balls, by Clarence Bennett and David Goodsell, from M-U-M 1980.
Break a wand.
