This past week on The Magic Word Podcast, Harry Lorayne talked about how he developed his super memory and subsequently his memory course. He talked about his appearances on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson", working in his early years in "Billy Reed's Little Club" and performing for and making friends with the glitterati of film and stage such as Frank Sinatra, Mel Brooks, Anne Bancroft, etc. Though many here in this forum personally know Harry and have heard his many tales, I know that there are many more in our magic community who only know of his prolific writings on card magic including his long running "Apocalypse" newsletter/magazine/journal. And although this podcast could have gone on for many more hours (and split into multiple episodes), we contained it into a "tight" hour and a half with lots of stories you've maybe heard but some I'll bet you haven't.
