I had the great pleasure of attending the opening night performance of Derren Brown’s Secrets, this past Sunday night. I had not seen Derren’s 2017 off Broadway show, nor had I ever seen him live. All I can say is that the performance moves quickly – and it is an entertaining and sometimes absolutely astounding evening of high quality magic. Amazingly, there is not one card trick, though there is a trick with photos that would be the closest thing.
There is even a very clever illusion that comes out of left field, which I didn't' see coming - and is a fooler - and of which I will say nothing more.
I loved the show, and may go back a second time to see it again because it is that good. Don’t miss this one.
