Pat Hazell starts off saying that he may be one of my most obscure guests. I disagree.
I know that many of you remember him from his offerings in the Adam Fleischer books, "New York Magic Symposium" (Collection 4 & 5), his multiple appearances in comedy clubs and on late night TV "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" and later with Jay Leno. He also had bit parts in film and on TV such as ""Glory Road", "Waiting..." and "Friday Night Lights", just to name a few. Showtime channel voted him one the "Funniest People in America" having gotten beaten out by Ellen DeGeneres (whom he later worked for as a warm up act for her show). But perhaps it might be his friendship with Jerry Seinfeld that we know him as he was a writer for the "Seinfeld" show. And you might remember him as being the host of one of the evening shows at the 2018 MAGIC Live! convention and the guest of Julie Eng during the daytime presentations.
So now you know a bit about him, you will better appreciate the first of our two part conversation this week on The Magic Word Podcast. You can watch a couple great videos of Pat, see some of his early promo photos, read the blog , listen to the podcast and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/sco ... l-part-one
