Richard Turner article

American Lifestyle is an airline-type magazine that I get from my realtor. It is branded was though it is his magazine. You can send the magazine to your own clients by checking how at remindermedia.com.

The most recent issue, Issue 95, contains a nice 4-page article about Richard Turner titled "Overcoming a Stacked Deck." It's both heartbreaking and uplifting and worth a read if you can figure out how to obtain a copy.

Quick note: The Magic Castle does not have a "Hall of Fame." It does have a Wall of Fame—the walkway between the dining rooms and the theater annex. Or, as Mike Caveney calls it, "The Wall of Egos." (Yes, he is on it.)

Wow, I'm at a loss for words (which rarely happens). What a man. What a dedication!

Just four quotes and a few figures from this fine interview:

"My longest run was 2,190 days in a row—that’s performing seven nights a week for six years straight."

"I hate to even admit this, but I have had twenty-two surgeries because of my high-impact living."

"I used to shuffle for ten to twenty hours a day, but I’m only doing three to ten hours a day now."

"I’ve been seen on TV by over a billion people in 214 countries."
