Jesus [censored] Christ, are you still going on about how the world owes you something for Matrix, get it through your thick [censored] head, matrix is just a minor variation of the effect by Yank Hoe. And frankly, if it wasn't for the improvements added by Derek Dingle and Paul Harris, the effect would have never even caught on the way it did.

Matrix did and still does just fine. There's an option in YouTube to keep folks from posting comments on your videos.

Nah, that's not an example of Dunning-Kruger, it's trolling plain and simple. It's best to ignore such comments, if you can. Al, to paraphrase something often - perhaps erroneously - attributed to Dr. Seuss: Those who matter know; those who don't matter don't.

What did paul Harris add to the effect?

Although this one applies to so many things in so many fields, I think it's especially apropos in magic: modifying, tweaking, tinkering with, and otherwise changing something is comparatively easy; creating something - something truly worthwhile to begin with - is hard.

You've created an amazing amount of magic, Al.

I love paul but free flight is hardly and advancement or improvement of either the sympathetic coins or matrix.

You may be right, though Ammar refers to Paul trying different variations of coin assemblies over the years with more and/or less cards and coins and always coming back to "Free Flight".

Why would someone do this? How could anyone disparage Al Schneider and Matrix?

Al, this guy did it because you probably ripped him a new bodily orifice on-line. Having had you disparage my work, after I disagreed with you online. I suspect you irritated this guy, in a similar fashion. You're very certain in your opinions and you don't suffer fools lightly. I'll bet there are dozens of magicians who find your caustic manner and lack of civility offensive. I may run this James Barton down and start a club.

I don't agree with what Barton wrote on your youtube page. I still hold your written legacy in the highest regard. You, single-handedly have contributed more to cups and balls magic than anyone I'm aware of.

Don't let the a-holes of the world bother you Al. Your legacy as a great close-up magician and thinker is secure.
