In the second and final part of our conversation with Richard Hatch, he finishes with his stories regarding his search for Erdnase then goes into some detail about his findings on Washington Simmons who was a magician in the late 1800's who traveled through Utah and the Plains States. He also talks about his interaction with Artemus Ward, Abraham Lincoln's favorite humorist and the person who influenced the writings of Mark Twain. Simmons also befriended Brigham Young, early leader of the Mormon faith. This conversation is quite enlightening and educational as I did not know about many of these people but I found his stories to be quite fascinating and I think you will, too.
You can watch a video of Richard Hatch performing, see some old photos of those who are mentioned in the podcast, listen to the podcast online, and download the MP3 file at: https://www.themagicwordpodcast.com/sco ... h-part-two
There was a lot of interest in Part One of my conversation with Richard. I would like to hear from you if you would like to hear more historical podcasts about magic on The Magic Word.

Part One was awesome. I also enjoyed Richard's handling of the sponge bunnies.
