Three Fer: Jamy Ian Swiss, Stan Allen and Tom Gagnon

While attending magic conventions, I post daily updates featuring short conversations with talent, registrants, dealers and organizers. While at the recent MagiFest, I spoke with three registrants that were a bit longer than what usually fits for "convention update content" but not long enough to be their own full length podcast. So, this week we combined conversations with three "random registrants" that I happened to catch for "brief" conversations.

As I was talking with Stan Allen about the MagiFest and conventions in general (plus, of course, an update on what's coming up at MAGIC Live! this year), Jamy Ian Swiss walked by and was asked to join us. Jamy talked about being a critic in magic and the importance of introspection. Later that night, Tom Gagnon shared the microphone as we talked about some of his magic creations, books he has authored and illustrated, plus some of the magic legends he has known.
