Thanks Ted! It appears that B'Wave may have been the last effect Burger performed. Not surprising since he considered it the greatest packet trick of the 20th Century. I always liked his decree that magic is best performed after dark.

I haven't been here on the forum in quite awhile--years, actually. I stumbled onto this thread and the link to Dr. Rosenkranz's article by accident a few days ago.

It's brilliant. Thanks for the link, Ted; and thanks to Dr. Rosenkranz for a great remembrance. Before my dad passed about three years ago, the oncologist asked him what he wanted to accomplish. Dad responded: "I want to live until I die."

It's clear that Eugene wanted to live until he died. I now know how I want to go when it is my time.
