Cyber Monday is HERE!

Postby Richard Kaufman » November 26th, 2018, 11:13 am

CYBER MONDAY SPECIAL OFFER
Order the new book DeLand: Mystery and Madness before midnight tonight (EST) November 26 and you’ll receive The Wonder Deck and The Automatic Trick Cards, a $45 value, for FREE.
Theodore DeLand was the hi-tech genius of 100 years ago, creating new types of gimmicked cards and decks that eliminated the need for sleight of hand. His hi-tech approach to card magic changed everything that followed.
The Wonder Deck was the first printed edge-marked deck in the world—normally it costs $20.
The Automatic Trick Cards was the first deck marked to secretly tell you the position of any card in the deck with no memory work required—normally it costs $20.
Both decks are edge marked, marked on the back, one way, and stripped. Postage would add an additional $5.
SAVE $45! Both decks will be included FREE when you buy the 10-pound 608-page full-color “masterpiece” by Richard Kaufman, DeLand: Mystery and Madness for $150 (plus postage).
Visit www.richardkaufman.com and simply place your order. Any order dated November 26 will automatically have both decks included at no extra charge.
The book is expected to ship in mid-December, in time for receipt for the holidays in the USA.
“Over the course of 600 pages, Kaufman makes a convincing case that DeLand changed the history of card magic and its entire development. … when presented with a chronicle of his life’s work it becomes astonishing that he is not spoken of as often and as reverently as Vernon, Hofzinser, or Malini. … At one time it may have seemed that DeLand’s output was too unwieldy for one book, and information about his life too negligible to bother with. But perseverance has paid off. For DeLand: Mystery and Madness is more than an archive of one man’s life’s work, and revelations about his life; there is much to be learned here about how magic is created and how it evolves over time. It is no wonder Kaufman spent over 20 years on this project and at the end of his career, this book will likely be considered, historically, the most important tome in his already impressive oeuvre.”

This is a great deal! If you were on the fence about whether or not you want the book, this offer should tip you over to the purchase side.

With this huge book and now 3 decks, you will be like a pig in poop! ;)

Plenty to read and plenty of card magic to learn and perform...

If anyone wants to see how the decks look (spoiler.... Great!) head over the current online issue of Genii (Dec. 2018) and watch Richard's "Genii Speaks" video.

I believe that the complete instructions on how to use both decks are included the book.

Looks like Richard is pointing to the Joker. Automatic Card markings can be easily read at a good distance.
