Andy Dallas - Escaping From The Ordinary

Andy Dallas was the National President of the S.A.M. (2006-2007) but that is not what defines him. In fact, it is hard to put a label on this Renaissance man. He was a professional escape artist for many years garnering attention and press far and wide. He then bought and expanded on a brick and mortar magic shop, "Dallas & Co. Magic and Costumes" in Champaign Illinois weathering the storm of online magic shops and "pop-up" Halloween costume stores. He has successfully continued to expand the shop for the past 40+ years. He is also a collector of mechanical pinball machines, all pre-electrical and digital. He also collects carnival con games. Not only does he collect these games, he also builds new ones, both legitimate and...well... He is a very creative and artistic performer who presents one of (if not "THE") best Zombie Ball act I've seen. He also has wonderful touches on the Linking Rings plus artful and original ways of presenting them. His knowledge of magic and its history is boundless. He is a treasure to our art and well respected in his Central Illinois area and beyond.
