Magician, mentalist and legendary mentor to many, Bob Cassidy has passed away. We were merely acquaintances. I only met him once, but I know of his impact on the industry. A sad day, indeed. Rest peacefully, good sir.

I got on very well with Bob. I didn't know him at the time but he once sent me an email out of the blue telling me how wonderful I was. Of course I knew that already. However, it was a nice gesture and naturally as a result I considered him a sterling fellow. He was a master of mentalism and I am sorry to see him depart this world.

Rest in peace Bob.

Very sad news.

Bob was an absolutely brilliant man. He probably knew more about mentalism and performing it than anyone. It was a pleasure working with him on his books. We had two more planned but realistically I think there will now only be one more. He surely had his demons -- who doesn't -- but we never saw them. He will be missed.
