Downton Abbey Magician

Jim Carter (who plays Carson, the butler) revealed that he will be spending some of his post-Downton time woking with the charity WandAid (http://wandaid.org/). He apparently has already done magic at refugee camps in Calais.

Interesting guy - he's also done tight-rope walking, juggling, Unicycling, and stilt walking.

Carson is one of my favorite characters on Downton. He has a bit of a sordid past. What with being in show biz and all. I believe that makes him an actor playing the part of a butler. But in reality he is an actor, playing the part of a former actor, playing the part of a butler. LOL! Glad to see the man behind the character is as colourful.
