This is the hardest message I've ever had to write.
Life is so unfair as this is the second time we have lost a grandchild in tragic circumstances.
On Wednesday 16th December my grandson Troy (aged 11 years, son of Melanie Watson and Michael Spiers) tragically died in a lift accident at his grandfather's home up in Gulf Harbour.
Troy was my grandson and step-grandson of my wife Michele Watson and my daughter Melanie's son. He was the grandson of Mary Wilson and step-grandson of her husband Tony Wilson. He will be sadly missed by Melanie's daughter Aleshia, Melanie's twin sister Larissa Gregory-Naum and granson Chase, and my eldest daughter Nicole Paramore and grandson Zackery and his dad Mike Spiers.

We are all sure you will understand that there will be no Magic New Zealand e-zine this week as we are traumatised with grief over this very tragic event and will not resume publication until January 10th 2016.
